Amazing picture quality and sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this TV for over a year and have had problems from the start.
Cheap for a 75" 8K TV
Bought the TV over a year ago, however after 8 months the panel failed. Hisense customer care was excellent however & after a diagnosis by a tech, gave me the option of a replacement or a store credit, I took the store credit & purchased a competitor’s tv, which whilst only 4K, has been superior. The Hisense did have good points such as, excellent upscaling engine, android TV operating system, many features, & low screen reflectivity. Bad points however included poor grey scale uniformity, faint vertical lines visible in low light greyish video content, sound lacking in bass, several fans, audible during very quiet scenes, (fans are also a future point of failure), with one which always seemed to run when the TV was in standby mode (did stop if mic was turned off). The user manual is not very comprehensive, & several options such as holding down the power button to bring up additional options such as hard shutdown/reboot are not listed. The TV also has a greater width than most other brands, & the speaker placement detracts front the overall look of the TV, especially when wall mounted.
