Quality product
Great product, quiet, reliable, long term performance, clothes come out great, I would highly recommend this for an investment piece.
good machine
Gorenje make good washing machines. This one was quiet and washed the clothes well, but what I didn't know when I purchased it is that the average length of just about all the wash cycles is about 2 hours. Yes, there is a quick option, but it is too short for most loads (and doesn't allow for the 1600rpm spin to be activated).
I found that the options are very limited in terms of selecting temperature, spin speed and time. If you like to customise your washing cycle this machine offers little in the way of flexibility. A cotton setting takes just over 2 hours, which is too long for me. I therefore called appliances online to ask if they could exchange the machine for a different model which they were happy to do ( much appreciated !) with the only cost being the difference in price. To save you time researching, I opted for the Bosch serie 8, and am really happy with it.
Good Dryer
I purchased this washer as a replacement for my old yop loader. I am impressed with how quiet and efficient the unit is. It has a door that swings away to te LH side allowing access to the large opening. The wash times need to be better highlighted in the instruction manual but after a bit of experimenting you can save your desired wash cycle.
