I bought this a few months ago. I bought i met a guy who owns a professional cleaning company that does a major supermarket chain. We were discussing maintenance of vinyl flooring. He said that cleaning hard floors with mops or sponges mainly just moves the dirt around. He recommended that a buy a small 10L wet dry vac to clean our family room floor. I ended up getting a larger 30L unit as it came with a 2 year guarantee. While it’s worked very well, it’s a lot bigger than the 10L models, takes more storage room and I’ve sometimes regretted not getting a smaller unit. Today, however, I was very thankful we have the 30L Gerni. A water inlet pipe/metal hose for our kitchen mixer ruptured, and our kitchen was very, very badly flooded. I filled up the 30L drum of the Gerni 6 times! The Gerni basically saved the day, although I’m still trying to work out how to get the water out from the inaccessible areas under our kitchen cabinets. I can’t stress how valuable our 30L Gerri was today.
