Great machine
Lovely machine making great coffee. Jas steam wand so you get to froth your own milk manually!
Reasonable machine for its price
We recently replaced our old Jura machine with the Gaggia. It’s hard to compare the two as the Jura is so much more expensive. The Gaggia makes definitely a decent coffee. We miss the nice crema though, the Jura used to make. Not sure if I have to use other beans or if the Gaggia is simply not able to produce a nice thick crema.
The cleaning of the brewing group and the compartment it’s in is a bit of a hassle, particularly if you use the powder shoot of the machine. It seems to drop coffee grounds everywhere. The opening of the powder shoot is on the smaller side and makes it tricky to fill in ground coffee without creating a mess.
Overall we’re happy with the machine.
