Nice Modern Looking Dishwasher
As a replacement for my ancient Dishlex this one certainly looks the goods from its modern S.Steel appearance to the easy to navigate control panel. The inside is very different however with a cutlery shelf instead of a basket. As tablet users we find it strange that we have to abandon our previous practice of putting it in a compartment in the door as we check the level of rinse aid before operation and instead are instructed to throw it in the top cutlery shelf where we frequently find undissolved tablet remains from a previous wash. I really do not want to have to change back to the messy inconvenience of powder. The middle shelf is adjustable for height but unless you use very small dinner plates and pots the highest setting is the only option. It seems to do a good job on the dishes but you have to be very careful to leave clearance between plates in the easily overcrowded wire racking arrangement.
Don't Buy
The Dishwasher turned up, looked great, easy installation and had a great layout. Upon loading the dishwasher for the first time we found that it didn't fit a normal sized dinner plate without hitting the spray arm. We have since tried multiple different dinner plates with the same issue. I am pretty dumbfounded as to how something could be designed, then actually produced without being able to fit the object for its intended purpose.
