This is our second Fisher & Paykel fridge over many years. Very happy with it overall and as apartment dwellers are enjoying it's quiet operation. It also looks very smart on the outside and is very roomy inside. The only negative is that it doesn't come with containers for eggs! Our last one did so not sure why this model doesn't! It means that eggs have to stay in the cardboard container one buys them in and sit on a shelf taking up room. Also not a tidy look in the fridge.

Bought six weeks ago had a service guy out in the first week because of a squealing noise it was making. He managed to improve it a little how ever still far from quiet and never seems to turn off. Disappointed.

We have had our new fridge for over a month now and it is great. The design is really functional with plenty of space for my F & V containers (Tupperware Fridgesmarts). My fridge is so organised it is like heaven! It is sleek and well designed and the drawers slide out so easy. There is loads of room in the door shelving. The little removable bottle holders are cool too.The one thing that surprised me was the flimsy fruit and veggie humidifier. I actually pulled it out when the fridge arrived as I thought it was some protective packaging! Oops. Now I can't get it back on. So, can't comment on how produce lasts straight in those drawers. The door doesn't easily self close, which would be good if it did, as the door alarm goes off 10 x a day, which is helpful to remind the kids they have left the door open......again. If you need to open the door soon after closing it, it can take a bit of extra muscle to open. Minor, but noticeable. The freezer is a great set up, again super easy sliding drawers. The containers in the fridge and freezer also can be removed easily for washing. We had a Westinghouse for 17 years before this. I was all ready for another Westinghouse, however the sleek design, shelving layout and easy to use drawers won me over. I hope it lasts just as long!
