This freezer is just what I need to replace an old upright freezer that had recently died. Already beginning to prepare some specialties for Christmas knowing there is somewhere to freeze them and they will be ready when needed.

The process to purchase was simple and quick; Price highly competitive. Delivery was exactly when we were advised, in the exact time-frame, with notification an hour prior as promised. Installation was super fast, freezer packaging removed, installed and old appliance removed in less than 15 minutes from arrival to departure.

This freezer works well and the drawers are convenient. Improvements over the old model which this freezer replaced are ease of door opening (used to have to pull the door very hard to open) and warning sound if door left open. Our old freezer lost its ability to maintain -18C. We discovered the items thawing one day and weren't convinced the door had been left open. The service technician said there was no problem but I bought a cheap thermometer and found the temperature fluctuating between -4 and -12 which is inadequate for storing frozen food. I now leave the thermometer in the freezer and have found the new freezer is always spot on -18.
