We upgraded to this from an old stainless steel (non-Electrolux) unit and this one is really good. I'm using it on natural gas (not LPG). Pros: - It looks great (from a distance, which is what matters) - The auto gas cutoff is great for safety (for if the flame burns out) - You can lower the flame to the lowest setting and it won't blow out easily. - The layout is fantastic. Nowhere else can you get a 60cm with the wok burner on the bottom left, and in a square shape. Don't be fooled by diamond shapes, you can fit less on them! Cons - You have to hold down the button for quite a long time for the auto flame blowout not to happen. - The burners knobs are sensitive from 0-50%, but don't do much/anything from 50% to 100%. - Once you're finished cooking the glass surface is extremely burning hot like you wouldn't believe. This could be a safety issue. - I couldn't find anything saying if the cast iron removable frame is dishwasher safe. - You can't really clean the glass as whatever you do will leave a weird cloudy rainbow effect on it. Personally I don't care about this. - The unit seems designed to sit about 3mm proud of the bench. This is because the glass is bonded to metal underneath and then the foam seal connects the metal and bench. That seems like a lot of cons but I think it's the best unit available in this size!
