This affordable, well rated oven (on Choice and others) has controls that are easy to navigate, and a display that displayed actual oven temperature. We were keen to avoid an oven with complicated controls, or controls that required 'secret knowledge' on which way to turn them on/up/down/off. Some of the more expensive ovens sounded better in the brochures, but when we looked at the controls .... only someone who had used that model before would have known how to use the oven! We needed to upgrade the electrical cable to 25A to cope with the power requirements of the one and a half ovens. This cost $450 for a licensed electrician. Money well spent. The half oven could be used just as a grill, but we have found it the right size for most 2 person meals and casseroles. Our original thoughts were that we could cook desert in the lower while cooking meat in the upper oven. This proved brilliant over Christmas. We are very happy with the inside space in both ovens. The lower oven also acts as a great plate warmer, We have only had the oven for 3 months thus cannot comment on long-term reliability. So far, no problems. It has been a great replacement for the 15 year old oven (different brand) that was in the house. More consistent cooking temperature has, by itself, rewarded us for this upgrade.
