We purchased a month ago and very happy with it. Great door storage for condiments and like the bottle holder and separate meat compartment

I was looking for a well-designed, quiet fridge with a high energy rating, and this one pretty much hits the mark - with the exception of the quiet part. Other reviews warned that it could be loud, and it can be. If your kitchen were right next to your bedroom I might hesitate to recommend it for this reason, otherwise it's great.

This fridge would be perfect if it wasn’t so loud. It makes a very loud, grinding sound until you open the fridge door and then it stops. At first I thought it was faulty, so within three days of receiving it Appliances Online were wonderful and collected the “faulty” fridge and replaced it with a new one. Now, I’m either the unluckiest person in the world, and have received two faulty fridges, making exactly the same noise, or it’s just the way this fridge is. What I think Electrolux wants us to believe is a “cat purring” noise, actually sounds like a coffee grinder on low. It’s extremely irritating, especially in an apartment environment where the bedroom is so close to the appliance. I’ve been tempted to turn the thing off at night time just to get some sleep! Ridiculous. Apart from the noise, it’s a lovely fridge. Works well, looks great, and I love the extra drawer for cheese.
