Not right for our situation
Can't tell if the Dimplex mini AC is good as we can't get it to operate properly with our tilt and turn windows - the vent keeps falling out of the window. If it will not work with tilt and turn windows I wish the product information had stated that clearly. Right now it is a $500 lump sitting on the floor.
does what i need, could be better
I didnt expect this little guy to do what a split system would do. It does what i needed BUTt as others have mentioned the heat vent hose is frustratingly flimsy and restrictive and emanates A LOT of heat. It is noisy. Given a second chance i would just get a different product.
