I love this. So easy to set up. The hose is too short if you can’t just pop it next to a window but an extension from Bunnings fixed that no problem. The only MAJOR issue I’m having at the moment is that the hose won’t stay in its socket any more! I’ve only had it a few months so I will be asking about an exchange, a servicing or something else. Whatever will fix it! it really cools down a space and is loud at first if you’re in a small apartment, but you get used to it like all other white noise

39 degree celsius heat, my room is normally the coolest room in the whole house but it is showing 35 degrees celsius in my room while other rooms are 31 degrees without any fan or anything. I bought it as a temporary option, because of my baby and if I knew that portable aircons end up doing more damage than good, then I would have never wasted my 700 dollars. I'm on paternity leave and I can not afford aircon and I thought this would make a big difference but no, it is the biggest waste of my hopes and my money! My 5 month old baby and I are literally dying in this heat!!! 😩

Arrived yesterday, set up today. Easy to operate. Nicely cooling and dehumidifying. Using in conjunction with a fan to decrease operating time. Low-level noise as you would expect from an electrical device in operation but not as noisy as a window unit. Will definitely make summer in this old Queensland housemore bearable.
