Absolute Garbage.
The ignition system on the first unit we got was defective, but at least we could light it with a match (defeating the purpose of a fancy expensive ignition system). The replacement unit stopped igniting AT ALL within hours of installation! That one you couldn’t even light with a match! Do not buy under any circumstances. I wouldn’t take one if they were being given away.
LOOKS GREAT AND A HAPPY COOK!
TOUCH PANEL PUTTONS A LITTLE HARD TO USE BUT BURNERS AND CAST IRON STANDS ARE REALLY WELL MADE AND SHOULD LAST FOR YEARS BY TAKING CARE OF THEM.
Beautifully crafted intelligently designed
As I was replacing an old gas cooktop from a stone benchtop I was limited by the selection that would fit in the existing cutout. Thankfully the DEGMATIK90 was a perfect fit. It is well designed with modern black glass that's easier to clean than stainless steel and the hobs are in symmetry with the largest in the centre. I like the fact it has residual heat indicators so you know which hobs may still be hot after use.
The main controls are at the front rather than the side for easy access with indicators that tell you which hob is active. Then there's the electronic touch panel that gives you further controls such as a programmable cooking time with auto turn off. Simmer Control for Low Heat Cooking. In the unlikely event you leave it running unattended it will automatically switch off after 6 hours. It does however automatically reignite if the flame is accidently extinguished. Best of all the cast iron trivets are not bulky so easy to remove and put back and doesnt clutter the look of the cooktop. It also has a child safety lock mechanism should you have curious kids.
