Don't recommend
The TV sensor is in the middle of the tv on the bottom and it's quite low, I have to move my soundbar every time I want to use the tv remote.
The TV takes about 2 minutes to start up, and the subtitles automatically come on which is annoying.
Remote to TV is a little laggy (I've tried different batteries) and it's frustrating to navigate between TV, Apps, Netflix, YouTube.
Way better then I expected
I bought this TV after having issues with JVC and seiki TVs and there respective after sales departments (not appliances online). After returning the JVC to bigw I decided to give Chiq a go as they had the 5 year warranty bonus offer going and all I can say is that I am glad I did. What an absolutely amazing TV!
The picture is great for every day viewing and gaming. The quality of the picture is better then my more expensive TCL with onkyo audio in it.
The sound quality also shocked me. It's better then the old (2011) Sony that it replaced, better then said TCL which was stamped with onkyo premium audio! There are so many sound options and adjustments that you will never want for anything more.
The Android system is great and works well. There is no fast boot up option like my TCL but I assume that it's something that is automatically on as the Chiq turns on instantly so long as there has been power to the unit other wise it has to do a full boot again.
Honestly, the TV is well worth the money and I doubt you will find any device for this pricd with the same picture, sound and softwear quality.
Absolutely in love and I'm thinking about now buying another for the lounge room and the TCL can go in the spare room!
