The blender is as good as and even better than advertised. A very versatile and reliable appliance and as with everything we have purchased through A.O.L. the quality and service cannot be faulted.

I bought this to replace my Braun because I melted it's cord on the stove. The positives are the larger mixing bowl, the stackable function of the blender and mixer jug. The negatives are the lack of turbo button, which the Braun had, which could be activated with one hand while using the blender. I find the rotating speed dial to be slightly more cumbersome, having to stop and use two hands to twist and adjust the speed. The build quality is cheaper than the Braun. The motor noise, particularly at high speeds is annoyingly high pitched and very loud. Overall, it does what it said on the box, and my points are small niggling issues that I'm only aware of due to the comparison to my previous blender. For the price, it's not a bad deal. If I were to buy again, I'd probably buy something at a higher price point.
