For healthy users
Very nice product best washing machine
Auto liquid disposal works very well. Clothes are wasing well and also short cycle work perfect for small load.
Pleasantly surprised
I bought this machine with trepidation as my previous top loader got too old to fix. I was used to having a top loader that had all the features of a front loader minus the bending down. Unfortunately, they don't sell this type of machine anymore. Whilst shopping for this machine, I found that there was a lot more choice for front loaders. I settled on this particular model because it is made in Germany and had most of the features I was after. I've used the machine for approximately 60 washes and this is my conclusion:
PROS
It is very quiet
Most washes are quite fast
Amazing results
The iDOS feature is fantastic - I haven't refilled the detergent compartment since the first use!
It does use more fabric softener (I make my own so it's not viscous).
The light is very handy to check that I have fully emptied the drum
The app (needs WiFi), allows you to remotely operate the machine although I have only used it a couple of times (I guess the novelty wore off). Having said that, the manual says that the Home Connect app has additional programs so I will have to explore.
It appears to have sensors (depending on the wash type you select), and the wash comes out very clean.
I can pause the programme and add a forgotten item.
This machine doesn't do colours, whites, denim etc. Instead, you need to select by fabric type: cottons, mixed (linen, cotton and synthetics) etc. It took me a few days to get used to it but now I am used to it.
I have gained an extra 700mm of bench space.
Other people have complained about the looks, but I quite like the bright buttons and the display. It looks great in my laundry.
CONS
I have to bend over
Transferring soaked items into the machine is messy, I have to wipe the bottom of the machine every time.
The volume for the end of the wash is too low even on 4 (very loud). I have to keep looking at the time.
