[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starting my kitchen from scratch I just could not go past the Bosch Series 8 Flex induction cooktop for it's style, functions and reliability.
Looks amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sleek gloss scratch resistant surface looks absolutely amazing. The flex zone make the surface capability equal to 5 zones of cooking. The speed, precision and even constant temperature control has made the transition from gas a non issue. Very delighted with this purchase. The price is midrange and the quality excellent. I give it 5 stars.
Outstanding design and features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent induction coil sizing that matches most used pans in my daily cooking and the control panel while takes a few goes to get used to due to single temperature scroll, you come to realise that having it centred (away from pans) and a wider bar allows for better accuracy. The interface was my biggest concern as it’s different to most other brands but after some use it’s well laid out and make sense. No complains about cooking performance as the power for each coil is one of the best at this price point.
While I haven’t used the dual zone feature yet, it’s something I’m looking forward to once I source a rectangular grill / pan. Grilling some long strips of bacon on the side while I cook the rest of the breakfast would be awesome.
