Have purchased a number of Bosch products over the years (and lots of other brands). If I have a choice I will always buy Bosch, as they may be slightly dearer but they always perform to standard. Our latest acquisition was an oven and cooktop to replace the piece of junk in the house we recently purchased. Coming from another European brand, gas, freestanding, fancy appliance in our previous home we find the electric Bosch cooktop is so well designed and built that it cooks more evenly than gas with outstanding results (that's from someone with decades of cooking with gas). Like I said, Bosch products just do what they say they do, without any negatives.
