My grandmother had one of these and I always remember her running it under our feet as we tried very carefully not to drop crumbs. This is brilliant on our short-piled carpet and can pick up debris that our stick vacuum chokes on. It's quite impressive what a difference it makes. On hard surfaces it's pretty good but you can't get right into the edges, so you still need a little dustpan or broom, but again, great for a quick tidy and much more effective than sweeping with a dog whose idea of ‘helping’ is to scatter said piles.

Just the thing for quick cleanups, especially after grandchildren visits..Satisfaction when you see what it can collect.

Screwing handle together can be tricky, but take your time, nothing wrong with it, so easy to use.
