Good oven, but cost/benefit doesn't add up
Shipping damage upon arrival, bent foot and back left corner dented in.
This is a good functional appliance. However for the price there are some problems:
Cons:
1. The gas knobs are not all 'smooth' to turn some are higher resistance and some really easy to turn.
2. Non-linear gas level adjustment, it goes from 0-100 real quick so very hard to recreate a temperature setting that you like.
3. Temperature marks on oven aren't lined up accurately, have to set it 10 deg C or so below.
4. Circuit board fan is quite loud and stays on for a while after oven usage.
5. The cast iron grates are fine but the arms of them contact the burner covers so you have to be careful when putting them on/off so that you don't knock the burner cover off.
6. Comes with natural gas jets - but includes LPG. Have to pay a gasfitter more to put it in. They have to take the gas knobs off to adjust the burner screw and it's a bit of a violent process.
Pros:
1. Heaps of burners
2. Lots of space
3. Large & powerful wok burner
4. Oven cooks evenly and can reach 260 deg C
So good I bought one for my mum
The service and delivery and the actual appliance itself is so great I ordered one for my mum. Now we’re both redoing our kitchens to match lol
