Wall vent collar not long enough
The Wall vent collar was not long enough to go from the outside to inside of the timber wall not leaving enough room to attach the hose clamp over the AirFlex. (This is a weather board wall so not as thick as a brick wall.) So a collar had to be made out of pipe to add the extra length of about 50mm. So maybe include in the kit a collar to extend the length. It added an extra 1 hour to installation for the want of an extra 50mm.
Ducting kit
Previous rangehood was ducted into roof cavity, so wanted something better. Found my previous deck was smaller and plastic...NOT fire rated. This item is of an extremely high quality and fire rated. Unfortunately, I purchased to exit at wall....sparky had spare vent to duct out through eaves outside.
Works wonderfully....no more food smells lingering in my home any more...yay!!!
