In short, the bed is as perfect a bed as I've bought. I can't speak highly enough of it. I purchased this for my elderly father, who needs a very comfortable bed, and was a bit concerned, not having seen, let alone slept on it beforehand. But I needn't have worried. The fact that it is not made with glues and foams meant that it had no "off-gassing" of VOC. It looks and feels so high-end, which I suppose it is, but without the "high-end" price. The fact that it's hand-made, sustainably in Australia, including the base, is another bonus. It is so comfortable and plush, with Australian wool, my father stated that it's the best bed he's ever slept on. The price is great value for money, considering how luxe it is. I'm thinking of buying another for myself and my mother. Highly, highly recommended. The only issue was, we were a bit disappointed that the delivery guys didn't assemble the base (considering that we didn't have an old mattress + base to remove). But that doesn't detract from the amazing value of this quality mattress and base. Otherwise, the delivery was also top notch, as we have come to expect from AO. I do hope AO continue to stock these A.H. Beard mattresses because they are not as readily stocked in bedding retailers as other mainstream brands. Also, AO's pricing is more than competitive. I can only end by saying a sincere thank you of gratitude to AO - you have made this father and daughter very happy.

Fabulous nights sleep the first night, A.H. Beard quality is second to none and totally Australian company and Australian made with Australian products. Totally recommend and this is my second A.H. Beard product and I would not buy another brand.
